Re-Direct-Outreach
ReDirect Outreach Program
The program aims to engage children/youth who are engaging in high-risk criminal type behavior and or are being exposed to such activity and who are experiencing or are diagnosed with a FASD, PDD, or other complex needs.

RX-Living-Well
Rx Living Well Social Prescribing Pilot Program
The link worker will work with the Older Adult to co-create a care plan to ensure that supports can be in place.

Family-Violence-Treatment-Program
Provincial Family Violence Treatment Program (PFVTP)
We provide assessment and treatment services clients who have been mandated to, referred to, or self-referred (non-mandated) to the program due to intimate partner violence.

PDD Life Skills
The McMan PDD Life Skills Outreach Program is designed to work with PDD (persons with developmental disabilities) clients who have unique needs such as addictions, homelessness or other life challenges that prevent clients from successfully living independently.

Success Stories

Since 1989 McMan has been providing Family and Community Services throughout Alberta. Our greatest reward is hearing and sharing the successes of families and individuals who have benefitted from McMan and the programs we provide. Here are a few of those stories:

We will be successful in ending homelessness in Red Deer
when we have a system of care that can effectively and efficiently prevent/divert vulnerable individuals from becoming homeless.

After one year living in a foster home with caring and skilled parents the boys adapted very quickly to a healthy family lifestyle. Today, these boys are doing well and are still in contact with their foster parents.

Foster Care
Previous Client
Ashley, with the support of her McMan worker, her family and her community, was not only successful in maintaining her sobriety but demonstrated that she could parent her children who were so thrilled to be back in her care and living as a family again.

Family Development

Marianne was unable to care for her children due to issues of neglect, violence, and sexual abuse. Family and friends came together to support Marianne and the family was referred McMan.
